InteGuitar Interface Advantages on the Electric Guitar

At InteGuitar we are completely aware of the certain type of people out there that just don’t want to learn to play on a Nylon string or Acoustic Guitar they’re not interested in the style of music these guitars produce. The positives: The Sound Box Body of an Acoustic Guitar is much bigger and can be cumbersome to handle. This makes it hard to see the Fretboard/Neck whereas the Electric Guitars solid body is much smaller and easier to get around.

The String Tension on an Electric Guitar is not as loose as a Nylon String but not as tight as the Steel String making string control much easier to learn.

The Negatives: The Electric Guitar is played mainly in Western Countries and the cheaper Guitars are made in Eastern Countries this means there is a risk of damaged in transport issue the Guitar has to go through before it Reaches you. It makes much more economic sense exporting Electric Guitars at what is called Factory Floor Finished stage saving the cost of the Set -Up and Intonation stage left to be done at the country of destination Guitar shop.

The Set-Up stage of an Electric Guitar adds about half the cost again to the Guitar. Frugal web sites have been selling guitars without the Set up Stage completed and is how the guitars can be sold for so cheap. Its not easy to visually tell whether the Guitar has been set up or not except the Guitar strings used are called traveler strings that are far less in quality. Also if the Price of the Guitar is under about $200 or seems ridiculously cheap then its Guaranteed it’s a factory floor Guitar.

The Intonation set up ensures the Guitar tunes up correctly.

Electric Guitar needs an Amplifier to be heard making it a more expensive and adding to the learning curve. But it is possible to get around this by using a smart phone AP.
